Mid Atlantic Regional Director of Development

Mid Atlantic Regional Director of Development leads the Mid Atlantic Development team and oversees all fundraising activities, including fundraising from private foundations, individuals, and companies to meet annual revenue goals. Responsibilities include grant prospecting, writing and reporting; creating and managing all appeals, annual reports, and proposals; implementing donor stewardship plans; managing fundraising events, monthly giving and leadership giving; collaborating with the CEO to set and achieve goals; managing a donor portfolio to increase giving; executing all aspects of current Mid Atlantic fundraising events and identifying new opportunities; supervising the Mid Atlantic Development team and overseeing VA RAC and NC RAC; and performing other related projects. Requires 7+ years fundraising experience, exceptional interpersonal skills, experience with organizations generating at least $3M in annual revenue, a proven track record with major gifts, grants, events and appeals, strong writing and marketing abilities, experience managing staff, meticulous organizational skills, and proficiency with donor databases.
