Job Summary
Microwave Tower Technician I/II role focused on installing, aligning, and maintaining microwave radios, antennas, and waveguides on towers. Responsibilities include safe climb work at heights, weatherproofing hardware, routing and terminating waveguides and transmission lines, performing path alignment and site verification testing, installing cable ladders and grounding systems, assisting with commissioning and troubleshooting, and conducting routine inspections. Candidates should have experience in microwave radio installation and commissioning, waveguide installation, antenna and line installation, tower construction/modifications, fiber testing, RF testing, and knowledge of microwave systems (e.g., Ericsson, Aviat, Nokia, Ceragon, DragonWave). Strong safety mindset, ability to travel extensively, and willingness to work in demanding field environments are required. Role offers competitive hourly pay, per diem/travel opportunities, and opportunities for career advancement to Lead Technician/Foreman with ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License required
- CDL Class A license preferred
- DOT Driver Qualification knowledge
- Ability to obtain DOT medical certification
