MicroSoft Security Developer - Contract - Melbourne

Provide Level 3 operational support for Microsoft security platforms, maintaining and improving Secure Score per government standards. Optimize the Defender Suite (Endpoint, Office 365, Identity, Cloud Apps) while implementing endpoint security, ASR rules, Intune, and device hardening. Configure identity security via Entra ID, Conditional Access, and MFA; manage data protection with Purview (DLP, Information Protection). Support Azure security policies, logging, RBAC, encryption, and landing zone advisory. Lead incident response, threat investigation, and remediation while contributing to architecture, design, and roadmap initiatives. Produce documentation, runbooks, and configurations; deliver knowledge transfer and training. Collaborate with SOC, assurance partners, and service providers. This 6-month contract requires Australian/NZ citizenship or PR.
