Job Summary
We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to lead the design and implementation of enterprise data integration solutions in the manufacturing sector. The role involves architecting and developing complex data pipelines, implementing both real-time and batch processing, and creating data lakehouse architectures optimized for manufacturing analytics. You will mentor junior team members, ensure data governance, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical requirements into solutions. Essential qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, significant experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory, and advanced programming skills in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and lakehouse architecture
- 4+ years of extensive experience building complex data pipelines and orchestration with Azure Data Factory
- Deep understanding of manufacturing data patterns, production systems, and operational metrics
- Advanced skills in data modeling, pipeline optimization, and performance tuning
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark for manufacturing data transformations
- Advanced experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and real-time data streaming
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (Preferred)
- Additional Azure or manufacturing system certifications preferred
