Job Summary
Design and develop Spring REST-based APIs within technical frameworks, ensuring code meets standards and is tested appropriately. Own the design and code as per requirements while communicating status to the project team and management. Continuously improve application stability, scalability, and user experience using TDD and JUnit. Manage multi-tiered system architecture with expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and SQL, leveraging React or Angular for frontend integration. Apply Agile practices and JIRA for sprint delivery in a complex, evolving environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 6-8 years
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology
- Associate with relevant experience in Java/Springboot with working knowledge of developing REST-based microservices
- Basic understanding of React/Angular and GIT
- Experience in multi-tiered, complex system design & architecture
- Excellent knowledge of SDLC and Agile development practices
- Expert level knowledge of Core Java, Spring Boot, REST
- Expertise in Implementing API driven Micro services
- Experience in React/Angular and using GIT repository for code management
- Experience in TDD and writing Junit
- Knowledge of SQL and related SQL procedure languages
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Both attention to detail & ability to rise above details to see broader implications & recommend strategic solutions
- Self-starter; Positive & adaptable in a continually changing environment
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills with technical & business partners
Desired Qualifications
- Should have a basic working knowledge of react/angular
- Familiarity with Banking/Financial domain
- Work on Project involving migrating of legacy applications to REST based microservices
- Worked in sprint model of software delivery using JIRA tool
