Job Summary
Microfabrication Technician (Second Shift) responsible for production of thin-film microelectrode arrays, collaboration with engineers to maintain equipment and processes within specification, and efforts to improve array throughput. Duties include operating equipment (ASML, spin coater, etchers, evaporators, sputtering systems, PECVD, wet processing), troubleshooting and calibration of equipment, maintaining process and equipment documentation, collecting data and visually detecting defects, assisting in data analysis of throughput and quality, ensuring product quality and conformance to design requirements, collaborating to refine and improve processes for yield, and maintaining a cleanroom/workspace. Requires high school diploma, ability to work 6 pm–2 am, and willingness to travel to other manufacturing locations (e.g., Austin, TX). Includes full-time employment with benefits; location in Fremont, CA with potential travel to Austin in the future.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Resourceful, flexible, and adaptable; no task is too big or too small
- Strong self-discipline and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a medical device regulatory environment
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
- Ability to work 6 pm to 2 am Monday through Friday, ending on Saturday morning
