Job Summary

Define an integration and test approach for components, subsystems, or systems and independently execute the plan. Contribute high-quality technical content for reports and presentations, adapt to program requirement changes, and proactively communicate execution concerns to leadership. Lead tasks, develop test plans, and create verification matrices for ASICs, MEMS, and custom microelectronic solutions. Perform bring-up, debug, electrical testing, performance characterization, and reliability stresses including radiation testing and extreme environment characterization. Automate tests using Python or other scripting languages and analyze data using Python or MATLAB. Maintain a secret government security clearance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field
  • 3-5 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role
  • Curiosity-driven approach to solving complex, industry and customer-driven problems as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively and openly with multi-disciplinary program team members, program leadership, and non-technical personnel
  • Be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to balance multiple competing tasks and demands

  • Applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a secret government security clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with the integration and testing of microelectronic systems
  • Works well in cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with hardware and software design teams to ensure designs are testable and provide feedback throughout the design process
  • Serve as system integrators, understand the customer needs
  • Ability to support multiple program offices including Electronics Systems, Space Systems, Strategic Systems, and Biomedical Systems
  • Experience with electronics test equipment including oscilloscopes, function generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, thermal chambers
  • Experience with the test of application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs)
  • Experience with printed circuit board fabrication, test, and validation
  • Experience automating tests using Python or other scripting language
  • Exposure to MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-883 test methods
  • Experience with manual and automated probe station operation
  • Track-record of test plan development, taking requirements and/or system concepts and turning those into verification plans
  • Experience with evaluation and characterization of new designs, including the creation of evaluation and characterization plans
  • Experience leading test campaigns to demonstrate verification and validation
  • Familiarity with the development of requirement verification test matrices
  • Experience with test data analysis using tools such as Python and/or MATLAB
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
