Job Summary
Maintain the effectiveness of the Microbiology Laboratory by performing routine microbiological testing including bioburden, environmental monitoring, water testing, and product-related sample analysis in a cGMP regulated environment. Prepare, qualify, and maintain microbiological media, reagents, and laboratory consumables while conducting environmental monitoring of classified manufacturing areas, cleanrooms, and controlled environments. Perform microbial identification using approved laboratory methods and technologies, review and verify test results for accuracy, and complete records in a timely manner to maintain data integrity. Support contamination control programs, equipment calibration, and validation activities including method validations and sterilisation support. Initiate and complete deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and non-conformance reports, and assist with investigations for out-of-specification results.
Required Qualifications
- BSc in Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, or equivalent scientific discipline
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts

Desired Qualifications
- Preferred two years' work experience in a Microbiology, Quality, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or related regulated environment
