Job Summary
Microbiology Analyst responsible for performing microbiology analyses on drinking water, wastewater and biosolids, including testing for coliform, E. coli, fecal coliforms and standard plate count. Duties include following SOPs, ensuring QA and HSE compliance, maintaining bound and electronic notebooks, prioritizing daily assignments, meeting method holding and incubation times, producing timely data reviews and reports, and collaborating in a team while able to work independently, with potential overtime. Must be able to interpret SOPs, formulate reagents, notify on public water compliance, and contribute to an audit-ready laboratory environment.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science in Biology or a related field (preferred)
- Computer skills, Microsoft programs
