Microbiologist Trainee

Job Summary
Microbiologist Trainee will join the Quality Control team in Pakistan and perform routine microbiological testing of incoming materials, in-process samples and finished products. Responsibilities include receiving, labeling, storing and tracking samples to maintain chain of custody, recording test results and maintaining clear laboratory notebooks using good documentation practices, performing environmental monitoring of production facilities, preparing media and reagents, assisting with instrument checks and routine laboratory maintenance, following GMP/GLP and regulatory expectations, and supporting continuous improvement projects. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, up to 1 year of laboratory experience, familiarity with LIMS/SAP, strong written/verbal English communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and eagerness to learn new techniques. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology is required for this role
- Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of laboratory experience
- Basic understanding of microbiological techniques and good laboratory practices
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiarity with GMP or GLP principles and laboratory documentation
- Experience with laboratory information systems such as LIMS or SAP
- Practical experience with laboratory instrumentation and routine checks
- Strong attention to detail and basic problem-solving skills
- Good teamwork, openness to feedback and eagerness to learn new techniques
