Job Summary
Perform microbiological analysis of food and environmental samples using conventional plating, PCR, and ELISA instrumentation. Identify microorganisms via microscopic examination and perform cultural confirmations for pathogens. Ensure accurate traceability and documentation of testing activities, including LIMS result entry, and review results for accuracy prior to approval. Identify and document non-conformities, assist with troubleshooting, and perform routine instrument maintenance. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, participate in quality system activities, and provide training for laboratory staff. Work flexible hours with willingness to work overtime in Horsham, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Sciences, preferably Microbiology
- 2 years in laboratory experience
- Ability to distinguish colors as required for Microbiological testing
- Demonstrated ability to work with a team
- Positive outlook with the ability to adapt to a changing environment
- The candidate for this role will be able to work flexible hours
- willing to work overtime
