Micro-Trench Technician

Micro-Trenching Technician I at ALLO is an entry-level role supporting micro-trenching operations under direct supervision. Responsibilities include site setup, equipment staging, traffic control, and job site cleanup while learning safety standards and operating procedures. The role assists with trenching, hydro-vac, structure placement, and material handling, maintains an organized and safe work environment, and supports learning foundational fiber installation techniques. Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent, 0–1 year construction or utility experience preferred, willingness to learn trenching and fiber installation, strong work ethic, ability to follow directions, and the capacity to lift up to 80 lbs and perform outdoor physical labor. Must possess/maintain a Valid Driver’s License, be able to pass a DOT physical/certification, and have OSHA 10 certification. Additional requirements include ability to operate tools and equipment, and perform duties outdoors in various weather conditions with travel as needed.
