Job Summary
Design and develop nanoelectronic devices for biomedical applications; perform simulations to optimize devices; fabricate devices in cleanroom facilities; characterize devices; explore applications of these devices for biomedical implants with collaborators; strong background in electronic devices, MEMS, CMOS technology, band diagrams, and device physics required; 3+ years of micro-nano fabrication experience and related characterization techniques are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in micro-nano fabrication techniques in cleanroom
- 3+ years experience in Photolithography, Liftoff and Spin Coating
- 3+ years experience in thin film deposition techniques such as Sputtering, Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD)
- 3+ years experience in dry etching techniques such as Reactive Ion Etching (RIE), Ion Beam Etching (IBE), Plasma Etching as well as wet etching techniques
- 3+ years experience in characterization techniques such as IV-Curve Measurement, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and other electrical and material characterizations
- Strong background in solid state physics, device physics, electronic devices (diodes/transistors/band diagrams) and bandgap engineering
- Bachelors or M.S or PhD in electrical/electronic engineering, physics, materials science, bio/mechanical/chemical engineering or relevant field
