Job Summary
Mi CASA Art Education Intern will develop and implement an arts-based activity curriculum for LTSC’s MiCASA summer program. The intern will assist in designing creative lesson plans that integrate visual and performing arts into youth programming, support the facilitation of workshops and activities that encourage self-expression, and collaborate with staff to adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of participants. In addition, the intern will contribute to program administration by preparing materials, coordinating schedules, and documenting activities, while engaging directly with youth to foster leadership, teamwork, and confidence through arts education.
Required Qualifications
- High School rising senior, preferred
- Experience working with youth
- Experience assisting with hands on arts workshops
- Can-do attitude
- Willingness to learn
- Equivalent education or experience can be substituted for all minimum qualifications, except when legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration, are required
