Job Summary
Assess patient behavior and document observations, model life skills for independent living, and escort patients while assisting with daily activities. Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment, providing de-escalation and physical intervention when necessary. This full-time role involves working 12-hour shifts at Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Missouri in Waynesville, MO, with a rotating schedule including days, evenings, overnight, and weekends. Training is provided for interventions, and the position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including days, evenings, overnight and weekend shifts
- Physical capability to bend, stoop, lift, and assist with patient interventions
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a healthcare, behavioral, or social services setting
- Education or work experience in psychology, human services, nursing, or social work
