Job Summary
Provide basic care to patients by assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. Monitor vital signs and report any changes in condition to nursing staff while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Conduct assessments for behavioral health patients with a valid CNA or MHT certification and two years of relevant experience. Work flexible PRN shifts under pressure with reliable transportation, adhering to a requirement of living more than 65 miles from the job site.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CNA cert and/or MHT in the state of work
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Reliable transportation
- Punctuality
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- 2 years experience in behavioral health
- BLS - AHA cert
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- CPI
