Job Summary
Join Epic Health Partners, LLC as a Mental Health Skill Building Professional providing critical support in Mental Health Skill Building services. Responsibilities include collaborating on Individual Service Plans (ISPs), monitoring plan implementation, and providing case management support. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Service field and valid registration as a QMHP, QMHP-T, or QPPMH. Strong skills in documentation, confidentiality, crisis management, and behavior management are essential to succeed in this role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Human Service field
- Valid registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Qualified Mental Health Professional-Trainee (QMHP-T), or QPPMH (with certificate)
- Successful completion of criminal background and central registry checks
- Valid Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Current TB screening and CPR/First Aid certification (BLS not accepted) or willing to obtain prior to start date
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to provide various skill-building activities including community and daily living skills
- Ability to assist individuals in developing behavior and anger management techniques
- Ability to monitor and manage mental health symptoms
- Ability to develop and implement closure and aftercare plans for individuals and families
- Ability to develop and write detailed progress notes and reports
Additional Requirements
- Must be registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling
- Must complete background checks
