Job Summary
MHPSS Officer in Aswan leads supervision of psychosocial project activities, ensuring delivery of high-quality evidence-based psychosocial group sessions and individual counselling. The role provides technical support to staff, maintains strong collaboration with stakeholders (donors, partners, government authorities, and project teams), conducts regular field visits, monitors adherence to interventions and SOPs, and helps ensure program plans, budgets, and M&E systems are followed. Requires a Psychology degree, 4-5 years in humanitarian settings, management experience, and multilingual communication (English/Arabic).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology
- 4-5 years of experience in development/humanitarian aid
- experience in psychosocial support and understanding of SGBV guiding principles
- previous management experience
- fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written)
- experience working with refugee/marginalized communities
