Job Summary
Fill store to customer orders using a pick list and prepare shipments according to company standards in a Market Hub Fulfillment Center. Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves to ensure order completeness, then mark pallets with identifying store information and stage parts for deliveries. Replenish inventory to shelves and manage shipping and receiving operations while maintaining back stock. Use lift equipment as needed once trained. This role requires consistent attendance and the ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Advance Auto Parts, a leading automotive aftermarket parts provider, operates over 4,700 stores across the United States and internationally.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Being able to work on various shifts, as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Close vision
- Distance vision
- Ability to adjust focus
