Job Summary
Fill store-to-customer orders using pick lists and prepare shipments according to company standards in a Market Hub Fulfillment Center. Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves, ensuring order completeness and correctness. Mark pallets with identifying store information, pick and stage parts for deliveries, replenish inventory to shelves, and manage shipping and receiving operations. Use lift equipment as needed once trained. Maintain consistent attendance while performing duties that require standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, and interpreting safety documents. This role supports Advance Auto Parts' network of over 4,700 stores and Carquest locations by ensuring efficient parts fulfillment for professional installers and DIY customers.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to work on various shifts, as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
