Job Summary
Lead and mentor delivery teams of engineers, architects, product managers, and scrum masters to own multiple large projects on a core commerce platform. Responsible for technical analysis, architecture design, delivery planning, platform roadmap, and ensuring quality across development, deployment, and operations. Drive cross-team collaboration, present project statuses and roadmaps to senior leaders, manage budgets and contracts, and support on-call/transition activities. Requirements include 8+ years software development (full stack), 5+ years of engineering-delivery leadership, expertise in Java, GraphQL, NoSQL, and event-driven architectures, experience with Agile, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of development experience, preferably full stack
- Additional 5+ years managing engineering and technology delivery teams
- Experience with highly-scalable architectures, Java, GraphQL, NoSQL and Event-Driven Architecture
- Experience creating architecture designs with resiliency and performance
- Experience managing a globally distributed delivery team using Agile methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communications; ability to present to Executive Management
- Experience managing software development lifecycle platforms and tools
- Bachelor’s in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field/work experience
