Job Summary
Regional Distribution Center Manager leading operational excellence, building high-performing teams, and coordinating all distribution center operations within the region. You will drive timely and efficient delivery, maintain inventory accuracy, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, manage carrier relationships, and partner cross-functionally to support new product rollouts, store setups, and strategic initiatives within Behr Paint Company’s Canada operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; preferred education in Business Administration or related field
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or transportation operations
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and distribution protocols
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and safety standards (DOT/provincial guidelines)
- Experience coordinating with third-party carriers and managing freight processes
- Solid communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- May be required to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) and work hands-on as needed
