Job Summary
Quality Manager is responsible for developing, improving, implementing, monitoring and maintaining quality systems and supporting processes to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements for the industries served. Provides technical leadership within Quality, drives adherence to systems, leads follow-up corrective action and direction of all customer-related quality issues, and serves as the Management Representative for audits. Oversees lab maintenance, testing, CAPA, nonconformities, supplier and customer quality activities, and ensures ongoing compliance with ISO, GMP, FDA, Food Safety, Medical, and other applicable standards. Leads a 24/7 manufacturing facility quality operations, guides root cause investigations, and champions continuous improvement in quality with operations, technical and R&D teams. Must have 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience, strong knowledge of packaging industry standards, and demonstrated ability to manage quality systems and food safety programs while meeting customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in science or engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant working experience and training in Quality in a manufacturing environment
- Extensive knowledge and hands on experience in implementing and maintaining quality system and food safety system standards
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
- Knowledge of HACCP/FSSC 22000/SQF/BRC/IMS, ISO 13485/9001
- Formal training in problem solving techniques, coaching, facilitating, project management, and team dynamics
