Job Summary
Quality Engineering (QE) Manager to lead a ~13-person QE team in India for Disney’s Commerce platforms. Responsible for end-to-end quality validation across projects and sustainment, driving test planning, coverage, automation, shift-left practices, and AI-enabled testing. Collaborates with global QE, Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Release Management teams; oversees defect triage, risk-based testing, and governance; ensures QE service delivery aligns with timelines and release goals; supports onboarding, test environments, data readiness, and tool licensing; drives adoption of automation frameworks and AI-enabled QE capabilities; participates in PI Planning and program-level forums to ensure QE readiness.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / Software Testing, with leadership experience (2-3+ years)
- Strong experience in functional, integration, and regression testing
- Experience managing distributed or offshore teams
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
