Job Summary
Plant OpEx Manager leads operational excellence initiatives at the Ventura Foods Waukesha plant, directing Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen programs; provides coaching to site leadership and cross-functional teams; collaborates with Production, Quality, Finance, Maintenance, and Engineering to align CI activities with site priorities; identifies and implements best practices to improve performance, sustainability of gains, and waste reduction; ensures compliance with SQF, GMPs, HACCP, FSMA, and related food-safety controls; requires building a coaching culture, guiding organizational interventions, and managing continuous improvement resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of experience in Engineering, Business, Operations Management
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge and Certifications in TPM, Autonomous Maintenance, Training Development, Organizational Development, Coaching, Lean and Change Management
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational and cultural change and deliver results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; problem-solving skills
- Project management capability; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
