Job Summary
Manage operational responsibility for the 27-bed 2 East Short Stay Cardiac unit, overseeing planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for pre/post procedural patients. Ensure compliance with departmental strategic objectives, safety protocols, and evidence-based practices while leading performance and quality improvement initiatives. Coordinate staff coverage, manage supply and demand for nursing care, and foster a participatory environment through shared decision-making and relationship-based care principles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a Bachelor's degree in another field if willing to begin a program leading to a Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Nursing within 12 months of hire and completed within 3 years
- Minimum of two years of progressive clinical experience with demonstrated leadership skills
- Registered Nurse license in Ohio
- BLS certification by the end of 2nd year in position
- Manager for 1East and 2East
- Pre/Post unit for Cardiac Procedural Patients
- Experience with cardiac care background
- Experience with procedural work
