Job Summary
Manage facility and maintenance services for multiple sites, overseeing utilities, machine repair, HVAC, fire/life safety, and plumbing systems. Lead leadership and cross-training programs to improve technical capabilities while identifying cost-savings initiatives and negotiating vendor contracts. Plan long and short-term capital projects, ensuring all facilities meet safety and security standards in full compliance with federal, state, and local codes. Review monthly financial reports to achieve budgetary objectives and support product development by discussing equipment needs with various departments.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years maintenance/facilities management experience, including multiple facility responsibility
- BS/BA or equivalent education and experience
- Broad based knowledge of building codes, OSHA and ADA requirements and how to apply
- Must have strong project management and communications skills
- Proven track record of handling multiple projects, construction or building renovations and master space planning
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Solid financial budgeting experience
- Must possess industrial electrical knowledge and be able to read electrical diagrams, trouble shoot and identify and resolve electrical problems
- Must understand AC and DC electrical operations including PLC's, Inverter Drives, Controllers, and their functions
- Ability to frequently lift objects weighing up to and including 50 pounds
- Ability to frequently carry objects weighing up to and including 25 pounds
- Ability to push and/or pull objects weighing up to and including 50 pounds
- Ability to withstand exposure to extreme climate variations; exposure to heat and cold
- Ability to crawl, bend, kneel, climb and/or squat
- Ability to frequently stand/walk
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems is a plus
