Job Summary
Design and deliver advanced training programs supporting leadership development and new strategic initiatives. Monitor, measure, and evaluate training effectiveness to ensure objectives meet business needs and promote organizational efficiency. Consult with stakeholders to develop individualized program objectives and integrate instructional technologies for all activities. Manage training records, develop distribution of reports, and oversee resources while utilizing internal and external resources for analysis and intervention recommendations. Work in close partnership with the Director of Learning and Development to facilitate various training programs, assign qualified instructors, and monitor lesson plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Adult Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial Psychology or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in progressive management initiatives in the development, administration, and implementation of training programs
- preferably in a transit related environment
- Previous supervisory experience
- comprehensive knowledge of strategic training and development
- experience in technical writing and curriculum development
- Previous cross functional work group management
- budget experience
- excellent communications (verbal and in written form) and presentation skills
- the ability to provide consultation to senior management
- demonstrated advanced computer skills in all primary departmental software platforms
- Must be able to work outdoors on flexible hours and split shifts throughout the MARTA service territory
Desired Qualifications
- Organizational Development certification (ODCP), Certified Professional in Learning Performance (CPLP), or Leadership Development Assessment (360 Degree, Hogan, etc.)
- Experience in vendor management
