Job Summary

Develop and execute strategic licensing plans for American Academy of Pediatrics content to healthcare IT, EHR systems, and public health markets. Identify new business opportunities, negotiate complex license agreements, and manage custom licensing efforts while establishing market segmentation and pricing structures. Maintain relationships with key customers, track sales activities via CRM, and prepare monthly variance reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates. Represent AAP at trade shows to gather industry trends and collaborate with marketing and publishing staff on product development. Manage budgets, attend evening or weekend work as needed, and travel domestically and internationally.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related discipline
  • At least three years' related experience in sales, content licensing and/or intellectual property management
  • Experience selling and negotiating licensing agreements
  • Experience analyzing market opportunities
  • Experience developing strategic growth plans
  • Experience developing proposals for complex business models
  • Experience developing and managing budgets
  • Experience in medical publishing or health information technology
