Job Summary
Manager, Market Contracting oversees contracting activities and team performance, driving development of contract strategies, analyzing proposals, and reporting on key initiatives to leadership. Responsible for leading cross-functional workgroups, maintaining SOPs, coordinating contract language changes, tracking metrics, and ensuring timely implementation of contracts with payors/providers. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong negotiation, leadership, communication, and analytical skills to manage multiple contracts and staff in a healthcare/ managed care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience
- minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in health care or managed care
- experience in provider relations or contracting
- previous management experience is preferred
