Job Summary
Provide guidance and direction to location leadership in multiple funeral home locations to drive business profitability, sales growth, and operational excellence. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and adherence to P&L targets; approve expenditures; guide marketing, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction initiatives; ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and quality standards. Develop and mentor frontline supervisors, recruit and develop staff, and lead change management efforts. Collaborate with market leadership and corporate teams on product, process, and technology needs; communicate long-term strategy and annual goals; manage travel up to 75% while optimizing costs and staff performance across locations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Applicable state Funeral Director licensure required
- At least eleven (11) years industry experience with progressively increased customer facing responsibilities
- At least six (6) years experience managing people and effectively managing budgets and expense control
