Job Summary
Mgr Freight Claims Planning & Imp & Implementation leads review of freight claims, analyzes liability, coordinates with customers and IT, builds KPI/ Tableau analytics, and mentors a team while managing budgets. Responsible for claims review and investigation, ensuring compliance with rail regulations, AAR rules, SOX requirements, and company practices; leads liaison with customers, claims personnel, and sales/marketing managers; manages auto-contractor settlements and cash application; conducts training on new technology tools; provides updates on claims status; gathers requirements and leads cross-functional meetings to troubleshoot exceptions; oversees freight claims technology budget reports and KPI/Tableau reporting; updates SOPs and training modules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
- 1 or more years of experience in Accounting, Finance or Customer Liability Claims
- Equivalent Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree/2-year Degree
- 3 or more years of experience in Accounting, Finance or Customer Liability Claims
- 3 or more years of experience of supervisory experience
- Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree (Preferred)
- LEAN certification preferred but not required
