MGR, Contracting - Health Plan Relations (East Region)

Job Summary
Lead and support AMSURG’s managed care contracting activities, including payer negotiations and contract research, with responsibility for developing contracting plans, monitoring payer issues, and coordinating center-level contracting priorities. Collaborate with Directors and the Vice President, Contracting, to manage relationships with operations, onboard acquisitions and provider affiliations with payers, prepare reports on contract rates and payer mix, and ensure adherence to SOPs. Requires strong organization, written/oral communication, ability to work independently, and overnight travel up to 25%. Remote work option available; travel as needed within East Region. 5-8 years of relevant experience in managed care contracting and financial analysis; Bachelor’s degree required.
