Job Summary
Implement agreed upon beverage policy and procedures while managing in compliance with all local, state, and Federal beverage and liquor laws. Monitor adherence to liquor control policies, maintain food handling and sanitation standards, and manage inventories according to budget and business levels. Supervise staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met, including training staff on liquor control policies and procedures. Assist with developing menus and promotions, participate in departmental orientation programs, and respond effectively to guest problems and complaints. Comprehend budgets, operating statements, and payroll progress reports to assist in the financial management of the department.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- 2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
