Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner needed to join Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in the MGC - Division of Surgery - Pelham in Greer, SC. Provide surgical first assist and perform clinic duties for general surgical patients; work 1:1 with board-certified general surgeons and participate in hospital rounds and calls across multiple locations, including Spartanburg Medical Center - Mary Black Campus. Requires prior surgical experience and allows for an on-call schedule (1 in 6 weekends, 1 in 3 weekdays). Benefits include CME allowance, PTO, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing
- Board certification as Nurse Practitioner (adult/acute or surgical track)
- Prior surgical experience required
- Ability to provide surgical first assist
- Ability to diagnose and treat general surgical patients
- Availability for hospital rounds/call at multiple locations
- Willingness to participate in on-call schedule (1 in 6 weekends, 1 in 3 weekdays)
- Relocation assistance preferred or provided
