MFM Ultrasound Technologist II- Per Diem

Perform ultrasound procedures on assigned patients according to the policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the department and hospital, following radiological standards to provide imaging that enables radiologists and physicians to make a radiological diagnosis. Independently perform ultrasound procedures, verify patient and procedure details, provide clear instructions, ensure imaging protocol accuracy and safety for equipment and patients, participate in ongoing education and training, conduct quality control on equipment, coordinate care with other departments, and train students and/or technologists on proper procedures and techniques. Maintain clean, functional work areas per DPH and Joint Commission requirements, and support a system of quality health care within the team. The role requires an associate degree in Radiology or related field, ARDMS certification, four years of ultrasound technologist experience, and BLS certification.
