Job Summary
Lead machining operations in a CNC/machine shop by setting up, running, and troubleshooting CNC mill/lathe and conventional machines; provide leadership, mentoring, and hands-on training to machinists; drive cross-training, tooling design/validation, and process improvements; ensure in-process quality inspections and collaboration with area leadership to meet production goals.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a machining role
- 2+ years in leadership role
- Experience with Haas and Fadal controls
- Intermediate knowledge of CAD/CAM software
- Proven mentoring/training/leadership on the shop floor
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints, specifications and shop aid sketches
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated
