Job Summary
Manage day-to-day production needs by fulfilling orders, mixing ingredients, and moving product safely throughout the commissary facility. Execute picking, staging, and loading activities to ensure shipments are released in a timely manner while maintaining industry-standard fulfillment ratios. Adhere to strict GMP, HACCP, and SSOP compliance standards, including wearing required PPE and safety gear, to monitor and execute all food safety documentation. Transport raw materials to production departments and finished goods to storage, ensuring proper labeling, tagging, and packaging. Report any accidents or property damage immediately to the supervisor and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent education
- Must be able to operate pallet-wrapping machines
- Must have a solid attendance record
- Food Handlers Certification
- Forklift Certification
- Must show a calm and professional demeanor while working on a forklift
- Must possess strong interpersonal and motivational capabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Must have decision making abilities
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines
- Must understand all safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods
- Be able to pass a standard drug test and qualify as being drug free under the legal and medical guidelines permitted by the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988
- Must be able to lift to 10 Lbs. (Continuously)
- Must be able to lift to 30 Lbs. (Frequently) and exert force up to 40 Lbs. (Occasionally)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, which will not screen for non-psychoactive cannabis metabolites
- Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment subject to extreme temperatures with exposure to hot and cold environment, noise, and some chemicals
- Must be able to work near moving mechanical parts (continuously)
- Must be able to experience vibration (Frequently)
- Must be able to experience moderate noise (Continuously)
