Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer 1 responsible for optimizing assembly processes, documenting procedures, and designing tools under direct supervision. Will troubleshoot basic issues, assist with implementing solutions to improve workplace safety, efficiency, and product quality. Responsibilities include modifying assembly floor processes, supporting safety, productivity, and quality improvements across the assembly floor, machine shop, and/or sheet metal shop; designing, building, and implementing tools for new or existing products; creating and deploying work instructions; and communicating effectively with all personnel. Requires CAD modeling experience, data analysis skills, and a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. No supervisory responsibilities. Works in a general office/engineering lab environment with potential exposure to production floors and machinery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree BA/BS/BFA/BSA from a four-year college or university is required
- 0-1 year experience
- Basic knowledge of CAD modeling systems
- Experience analyzing data
