Job Summary
Conduct daily inspections of molded products and oversee the second operation to verify customer requirements. Clean and trim products, assemble injection-molded parts, and utilize measuring equipment like calipers and micrometers for precision. Operate various machines and jobs efficiently while performing inspections on insert-type items. Use hand tools including microscopes, clippers, and screwdrivers for assembly and inspection tasks. Learn and utilize IQMS software for job functions while promoting quality and safety in all aspects of the work. Ensure adherence to ISO and other standards. Be available for overtime as needed on a project-by-project basis. Report to the scheduled 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm) on time and work the entire shift.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English, or the ability to be trained to perform the duties without a translator
- Competence in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Capability to understand and follow various instructions provided in written, oral, or blueprint formats
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and good vision
- Ability to operate machinery independently without supervision
- Proficiency in performing visual and dimensional inspections without supervision
- Ability to be available for overtime as needed on a project-by-project basis
- Must report to their scheduled shift on time and work their entire shift
