Job Summary
Conduct loading and unloading of trailers and perform picking, staging, and shipping activities to ensure orders are fulfilled in a timely manner. Move product between storage and production areas while managing inventory control systems and maintaining fulfillment ratios at industry standards. Execute all compliance documentation for food safety, sanitation, and productivity, ensuring proper labeling, tagging, and packaging of goods. Adhere to strict safety protocols, including wearing required gear and obeying traffic signs, while reporting accidents or damage immediately to supervisors. Maintain a clean, orderly work environment and manage break rotations with forklift associates.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent education
- Must be able to operate pallet-wrapping machines
- Must have a solid attendance record
- Food Handlers Certification
- Forklift Certification
- Must show a calm and professional demeanor while working on a forklift
- Must possess strong interpersonal and motivational capabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Must have decision making abilities
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines
- Must understand all safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods
- Be able to pass a standard drug test and qualify as being drug free under the legal and medical guidelines permitted by the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988
- Must be able to lift to 10 Lbs. (Continuously)
- Must be able to lift to 30 Lbs. (Frequently) and exert force up to 40 Lbs. (Occasionally)
