Job Summary
Coordinate movement of domestic and international goods under supervision, ensuring compliance with local and international law. Manage shipment planning across modes (Ocean, Air, Land), prepare pre-shipping instructions, and interface with service providers and customers to keep progress updated. Utilize SAP and other logistics systems to record data, monitor weight and dimensions, and support cost containment and efficiency. Assist finance and accounting with validation of rates and charges on invoices, and maintain necessary documentation and logs to meet shipping requirements. Bachelor’s degree is preferred and a two-year degree (or equivalent) in Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or Engineering is required; IATA/IMDG certification may be required depending on scope of work. Proficiency in English is required. Location: Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico.
Required Qualifications
- Two year degree or equivalent degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or Engineering
- 1 to 2 years of experience in logistics
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- IATA/IMDG certification may be required based on scope of work
- Knowledge in SAP
- Advanced English proficiency
