Job Summary
Calibrate and validate equipment and systems while maintaining all records and calibration schedules in the electronic management system. Add new equipment to the system and perform routine audits of the preventive maintenance and calibration program, ensuring accurate labeling. Assist Facilities or Process Engineering personnel with equipment technical issues and coordinate with vendors on maintenance and troubleshooting tasks. Perform independent calibration and manage the day-to-day calibration schedule in accordance with SOPs, cGMPs, safety procedures, and regulatory standards. Assist in root cause failure analyses and investigations as required. This full-time role at our Marietta facility supports our Quality team's mission to develop regenerative biologics utilizing human placental tissue for breakthrough therapies.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in an Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.) or Science related field (Biology, Chemistry, etc.)
- two (2) years of relevant work experience working in the medical device field
- two (2) years of relevant work experience in a Metrology role within an FDA regulated cGMP environment
- Knowledge of AATB
- Knowledge of FDA
- Knowledge of ISO
- Knowledge of other state/federal regulations
- Strong computer skills
- proficiency at MS Word

- proficiency at MS Visio
- proficiency at Windows-based operating systems
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
