Job Summary
Metrology Technician I responsibilities include calibrating and maintaining assigned laboratory equipment, updating calibration schedules and equipment lists, monitoring equipment (freezers, refrigerators, pipettes, balances, water systems, thermometers, weights, ovens, temperature and humidity monitors, REES Environmental system), acting as escort for external calibration vendors, and reviewing calibration notebooks per SOPs. Requires attention to detail and relevant lab experience. Preferred education is an associate degree in science; otherwise a high school diploma with at least 1 year of lab experience.
