Job Summary
Operate Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) equipment and acquire field data to assist Metrology Designers. Learn to become a subject matter expert on CMM tools and develop 3D modeling skills in point clouds. Support the metrology team by creating estimates based on required tooling and analyzing system performance. Work in both office and industrial environments, donning appropriate personal protective equipment while traversing sites with moderate to high noise levels. Requires radiation worker training and unescorted nuclear access.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience operating CMM Equipment
- experience supporting a metrology team
- At least 1 year of experience as a Metrologist supporting a nuclear facility
- College degree
- 4 yr college degree in anything Non-STEM related
- 2yr degree in engineering or designfield
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a college degree or prior experience supporting a metrology team
- pass initial and annual Radiation Worker Training
- meet all applicable requirements to obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear access
- Proven ability to demonstrate a high level of ethical behavior, integrity and trust
- Knowledge of BHI Energy processes and procedures
- utilization of developed tools to most effectively manage work

- ability to obtain and maintain a working knowledge of BHI and client technical manuals and procedures
- Ability to read complex documents in the English language
