Metrology Specialist

Job Summary
Metrology Specialist maintains metrology systems and SOPs in accordance with corporate and federal guidelines, serves as site SME for metrology processes, and ensures traceability of calibrations. Leads calibration standards control, coordinates instrument/standards shipments and site visits with vendors, and oversees day-to-day operations of the Metrology lab. Performs level 1 deviations and change controls, determines maximum deviation, leads small metrology projects, documents guidance on instrument changes/additions, collaborates with site engineering to improve instrument reliability, initiates maintenance requests, provides troubleshooting and backup I&E support, maintains a safe work environment, stays current with required training and SOPs, and adheres to GMP quality standards. Flex hours possible; requires ability to lift 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: 10 years experience with Metrology lab management, preferably within a regulated industry.
