Job Summary

Develop statistically and technically sound analytical test methods for the QC production environment, characterizing raw materials, intermediates, and emerging chemistries while establishing Long Term Stability monitors and standard operating procedures. Advance current metrology capabilities through focused pursuit of new technologies and participate in global alignment activities for quality control processes. Directly support new product development, AMLC material characterization, and production QC teams to advance overall metrology and quality systems. Lead taskforce activities for customer-initiated projects, including process excursions, and manage data collection and conclusions for management review.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS in a Chemical related or other Physical Science discipline
  • 1-2 years of experience in the semiconductor field or in a R&D/production laboratory environment
  • Candidates possessing a PhD will be considered with less experience
  • Ability to effectively manage their activities amidst an environment of changing and often competing priorities
  • Good communication skills within different functional groups
  • Ability to lead and direct the work of others

Desired Qualifications

  • Fundamental instrumentation and analytical skills experience – GC/GCMS, IC/ICMS, HPLC/UPLC/LCMS, GRAA, ICP/OES/MS, FTIR, UV-Vis, Electrochemical and wet chemistry techniques
