Metrologist

Oversee and perform layout inspections on supplier/customer submissions and full dimensional inspections on assemblies using SmartScope, CMM, and other measuring instruments. Supervise incoming inspection personnel, prepare KPIs for the SQA Manager, and generate layout reports while investigating quality issues through the RFI process. Provide expert advice to designers on drawing dimensioning and tolerancing, support calibration and MSA activities, and contribute to statistical analysis and governance across Nidec plants. This role requires 3+ years of experience and an Associates Degree or Metrologist certification.
