Metrologist

Perform and document calibrations for instruments including temperature, RPM, weight, pH, DO, flow, and pressure in a highly regulated GMP biopharmaceutical setting. Create and review calibration SOPs, coordinate with external vendors for equipment calibrations and preventive maintenance, and assist in maintaining the calibration program by generating SOPs and recommending inventory levels. Collaborate with facilities, engineering, and manufacturing personnel to troubleshoot equipment issues, minimize downtime, and complete GMP documentation such as change controls and CAPAs. Maintain equipment logbooks and calibration records within the CMMS, manage purchase orders for instrumentation parts, and ensure adherence to all safety and quality procedures. Work Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm, onsite at the Harmans/BWI facility.
