Enforce laws, regulations, and ordinances for crimes committed on, to, or against facilities owned, controlled, or operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority through uniform and plain clothes deployments. Operate within a tristate jurisdiction covering the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, serving a population of 3.2 million across a 1,500-square-mile Transit Zone. Deploy with specialty units including the Explosive Ordinance Detection Unit, K9, the Special Response Team, and the Motorcycle unit. Starting annual salary of $62,888 with a comprehensive benefit package including health, dental, retirement plans, and free transportation on Metrobus and rail.
